BUYING AT US AUTO AUCTIONS

Plan your auction purchase.

A winning bid is one part of a car purchase. Plan the account setup, vehicle checks, additional fees and transport before choosing your maximum bid.

1. Confirm your access and buying requirements

Start with $100 for your own auction bidder account under our Florida dealer license. Browse Copart, IAAI and Manheim, then choose a vehicle. If you already have a lot in mind, send us the link and delivery destination before paying.

Browsing access and bidding approval are separate steps. Pay the required bidding deposit and review the auction’s rules before your first bid. See the auction access service and current service terms.

2. Review the specific vehicle

Send the lot number or listing link, your budget and delivery destination. Review the title type, reported condition, photos, location and available inspection information. Auction vehicles may have damage, missing parts or mechanical issues. A listing photograph does not replace an inspection.

  • Save the lot number, auction location and sale date.
  • Review all photos, reported damage, mileage, keys and available condition reports.
  • Check the title type and any restrictions for your intended destination.
  • Arrange an inspection when you need more detail than the listing provides.
  • Set a maximum bid after allowing for fees, delivery and repairs.

Check that the documents and vehicle condition are suitable for your intended use. Questions about registration or import eligibility should be resolved with the relevant authority before bidding.

3. Budget beyond the bid

Your budget needs to cover the vehicle price, auction charges, BasicMobile’s applicable service fee, title costs, taxes, storage where applicable and transport. Request an itemized estimate using the lot link and delivery destination.

A useful budget: maximum vehicle bid + auction charges + service fee + documents and taxes + transport + an allowance for repairs and unexpected costs.

A winning bid commits you to the purchase under the applicable auction rules. Confirm the payment deadline and collection arrangements before you bid.

4. Arrange payment, title and delivery

After you win, your deposit, including the first $100, is credited toward the car. We invoice the balance and coordinate ownership documents and transport after payment. Confirm the payment and pickup deadlines for your lot before bidding.

For a useful estimate, send the lot link and delivery ZIP code or destination port. Read more about vehicle transport and export coordination.
